Elder abuse
Seniors and their caregivers can learn about elder abuse in a presentation by Seniors First BC. The free talk from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Mabbett Hall North at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.) will identify risk factors, the different types of abuse and indicators, and explore the importance of staying connected with others.
