That's the jackpot in the Feb. 25 Lotto Max draw; it's just the third time the top prize has been that high.
As well, an estimated 20 Maxmillion prizes are up for grabs, so the total potential amount of top prizes for tomorrow's draw is $90 million.
Brampton, Ontario resident, Adlin Lewis, became Canada’s first $70-million winner in January 2020 and Richmond’s Joseph Katalinic became B.C.’s largest ever lottery winner when he won $60 million playing Lotto Max in July 2019.
Earlier this year, Coquitlam resident Kuljeet Singh Dhaliwal won $500,000 after matching all seven numbers and winning a Maxmillions lottery prize.
In 2019, B.C. lottery players claimed $792 million in winnings, with more than $231 million from Lotto Max prizes.
