The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce (TCCC) is set to honour female entrepreneurs across the region and their successes from 2022.

The organization's year-end mixer will reflect on the accomplishments of its women in business program (WiB), including new professionals, young leaders and self-starters alike.

"The WiB Committee is responsible for the advocacy, motivation, encouragement, development and strengthening of women’s talents and leadership in the Tri-Cities," reads the program's description on its website, noting the event will give attendees the opportunity to network with others in the field.

"We seek to bring together women, those who self-identify as women and those who self-express as women together to further their success.

"Our goal is to connect our members with other businesswomen, supporters, and allies, to further their achievements and reach their goals. Altogether, we work towards building a community in which women thrive."

The WiB program is sponsored year-round by the Scotiabank Women Initiative.

The two-hour mixer is set to include a variety of food and drinks at The Hard Bean Brunch Co. in Port Moody (2781 Clarke St.).

The event is scheduled for Nov. 17 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

There's currently a wait list for the mixer, but those still interested are encouraged to contact the TCCC via its website.
