The Coquitlam Adanacs know one thing heading into their final regular season game of the BC Junior A Lacrosse League game tonight — they’re going to finish in first place.

The Port Coquitlam Saints scored the first goal in their BC Junior A Lacrosse League game Saturday at the PoCo Rec Centre, but the Nanaimo Timbermen scored the next six and rolled to an 11-5 win.

The Coquitlam Adanacs surrendered three goals in the third period of their Wester Lacrosse Associaiton game Saturday against the Nanaimo Timbermen and were able to get only one of them back as they lost their fifth straight home game, 12-10.

The Coquitlam Adanacs rediscovered the offence Friday that had eluded them their past two BC Junior A Lacrosse League games.
