The torch relay made its way through the Tri-Cities Thursday, stopping in Anmore, Belcarra, Port Moody, Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam.

To celebrate the Olympic Torch Relay coming to the Tri-Cities, show Canadian spirit, and to kick-off the 2010 Winter Games, Coquitlam Centre is hosting a community celebration event Feb. 11 from 3 to 8 p.m.

A group of Tri-City skaters got up close and personal with their Olympic idols when Calgary 1988 Olympic gold medalist Katarina Witt and silver medalist Elizabeth Manley joined them on the ice at Robson Square Sunday.

Even if you don't have tickets to the Olympics, you can still see some of the figure skating athletes in action during two training sessions at the Port Moody arena. Teams from Canada, Great Britain and the U.S.
