The Editor: Farmers need workers to help them to bring in the crops and cannot get the workers mainly due to the COVID-19 problems.

Our seven-year-old son let us know pretty quickly going back to school for a few weeks of classroom learning was the only decision

As we continue to adapt to the extraordinary changes brought upon our daily lives by the COVID-19 pandemic, it is worth stepping back every now and then examine the mounting data associated with the virus’ impact on British Columbia.

Our province has done well in flattening the curve of the spread of COVID-19 infections compared to other communities throughout North America. We owe much to the wise leadership of Dr. Bonnie Henry and Minister of Health Adrian Dix.

Editor: The City of Port Coquitlam has been making a lot of headlines lately, but unfortunately not for the kind of characterization its residents would hope to see.

The Editor, I am appalled that B.C. teachers, after spending about three months teaching online, are now forced to divide their time between in-class instruction and online teaching after hours.

The Editor: One of the “benefits” during the pandemic is arguably the saving on hair cutting —regrettably, at the cost of the barbers’ income, of course.

Congratulations. If you’re reading this, it means you were not killed by an asteroid the size of a football stadium last night.

The Editor: I have during this pandemic watched and heard of the neglect and abuse of seniors in care facilities and it is simply heartbreaking.
