Editor: It’s happened to all of us at some point — there you are, loading all the loose change in your pocket onto a Compass Card, expecting it to last through the month.

They don’t care about looking after your money, and they don’t care how hard you work to earn that money. They just don’t care. By “they,” we mean the people who run the provincial legislature.

The Editor, I was at a SkyTrain station in Burnaby last weekend waiting to meet a date. While waiting, I saw there was a young couple sitting on the ground amidst their meagre possessions.

Like many, we were disappointed in Justin Trudeau after seeing a picture of Canada’s prime minister wearing brownface at a party held during his years as a teacher. He has also worn blackface.

A church that for many years has done nothing but show full-on, full-out support in a multitude of ways to the entire community of Coquitlam."

While we make no judgment as to Mayor Vagramov’s guilt or innocence in his criminal case — that is for the courts to decide, though it appears now that won’t happen — it’s time he break this pattern for his own good and that of his constituents.

With apologies to Bill Clinton: “It’s the climate change, stupid.” But not only climate change. You’re worried about your wallet, too. Also, to a lesser degree, health care, housing, the environment.
