Port Coquitlam parents, would your kids be interested in seeing their artwork on the city's annual holiday card for the community?

Kids and youth in Port Coquitlam have less than two weeks to submit their holiday-themed artworks to the city.

The deadline is Monday, Nov. 27, for children to create a masterpiece that will be replicated for the cover of this year's city Christmas card, as well as at various locations around PoCo.

It's the third year in a row the municipality has called on students for designs.

Last year, more than 50 pieces were entered to be featured on council cards, which were sent to seniors in long-term care homes in Port Coquitlam, as well as stakeholders, volunteers and groups.

Besides the cards, the kids' artwork will also be displayed on the civic website, social media channels and electronic billboards in December.

The following artworks are eligible (in jpeg, png, gif or PDF formats):

  • drawings
  • paintings
  • crafts
  • hand-written notes
  • other forms of artistic expression

To apply, you can upload the artwork to the city's website.
