Here's the list of 100 garage sales in Coquitlam this weekend

As many as 100 garage sales are taking place in Coquitlam on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Beating inflation takes effort, careful shopping and planning.

But a city-wide garage sale in Coquitlam this weekend can help.

The city has put out a list of more than 100 addresses where you'll find a good deal in clothes, housewares, sporting goods and other items.

The households have registered to participate in the City Wide Garage Sale taking place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24 and Sunday, Sept. 25.

Alternatively, check out this mobile-friendly online map tool to find out where the garage sales are being held.

But please note: Some of the garage sales are just Saturday or Sunday morning while others are both days; they are colour-coded, so they are easy to see.

According to the city, the event is a great opportunity to contribute to environmental sustainability and community waste-reduction efforts.

"It’s an inexpensive way for keen shoppers to find sought-after treasures and bargains, as well as keeping items that need a new home out of the landfill."
