The Editor,

Re: Tri-Cities' has 'disintegrated' in the past five years (letter to the editor, March 18, 2024)

We moved to Port Coquitlam in the late 1970s and we have seen nothing but great things for our small community. It is one of the most progressive communities in the Lower Mainland.

What did you expect when you moved here? No growth? No new community centres? No new homes or condos? No new industries?

If that’s what you were looking for, you should have moved to Hope or Spuzzum (no disrespect for either towns).

Port Coquitlam is a great community with some of the lowest taxes in the Lower Mainland. It has great community facilities, and a great mayor and council.

I love my city!
