Autumn, if you can believe it, is nearly a month away.

The season typically represents the start of a new year for many, potentially "new beginnings" both personally or professionally.

The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce (TCCC) is gearing up to celebrate the Fall Harvest Moon and has scheduled a women's-only networking event to mark the occasion.

On Sept. 21, the organization is set to welcome members of its women in business chapter, as well as non-members across looking to connect with other entrepreneurs.

The event's description explains it's meant to act as "a time to embrace change," much like the fall season.

"Don't miss this opportunity to meet and connect with other women entrepreneurs in your community," it adds.

"You'll leave feeling inspired and motivated to achieve your business goals during this exciting time of year."

The TCCC oversees more than 1,000 businesses of all sizes across Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore and Belcarra.

Its Fall Harvest Moon event is scheduled for Sept. 21 from 4 to 6 p.m. at The Boathouse in Port Moody — located at 2770 Esplanade Ave.

Participants will be served cocktails and appetizers, including a seafood display.

Tickets are $45 for current TCCC members, $55 for non-members and space is limited.
