Kids, get your crayons out.

The City of Port Coquitlam is once again calling for artwork for the cover of the mayor and council’s holiday cards.

But the deadline for entries is coming up: Submissions must be uploaded via the municipal website by Nov. 27.

City officials are asking children to design a seasonal piece for cards to be sent to stakeholders, volunteers and community groups, as well as seniors in long-term care homes in PoCo, in December.

In addition, the artwork will be displayed around the city to spread the holiday cheer.

And, after Dec. 5, residents can download a free digital version of their favourite piece to print and share with friends and family before Christmas.

The artwork can be a drawing, painting, craft or handwritten note, for example, with a positive theme (the cards are seven inches wide by five inches high).

To enter, submit a high-quality image of your child’s artwork in one of the following formats: jpeg, png, gif or PDF.
