MID-WINTER SHOW

Choral Connections, under the direction of Ingrid Gay, a music teacher at Heritage Woods Secondary in Port Moody, presents United in Song 2024, a mid-winter concert from 2 to 4 p.m. at Trinity United Church in Port Coquitlam (2211 Prairie Ave.); tickets are $20/$18 per person via the website or at the door (cash or cheque).

BACH MASTERPIECE

Pianist and comedian Sarah Hagen returns to the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way) to perform Johann Sebastian Bach’s composition "Goldberg Variations." The work is made up of an aria and a set of 30 variations that was first published during his lifetime, in 1741; it was named after Johann Gottlieb Goldberg. Tickets are $37/$34/$16.
