Cars may soon be legislated out of existence - not by anti-idlers and environmentalists concerned about greenhouse gasses - but by city planners intent on getting rid of parking spaces in condos.

"Fill 'er up," is an obsolete phrase in most cities. But not in Coquitlam, where a forty-year-old bylaw requires all gas stations (all nine of them) to be full serve.

I must admit that I avoid Coquitlam gas stations like the plague. And I don't think I'm alone, on that.
