The Editor, Re. "Don't pave path: Oakdale" (The Tri-City News, Nov. 22). The Pin Oak Footpath is a part of a larger network of paths reaching all the way to Burnaby Mountain and the Burrard Inlet to the north.

The Editor, Re. "Which is superior: The CFL or the NFL?" (Face to Face, The Tri-City News, Nov. 15). At last, a meaningful topic for debate. Forget the Senate, Ford Nation and whatever pipeline you choose to despise. Let's talk football.

The Editor, Re. "Which is superior: The CFL or the NFL?" (Face to Face, The Tri-City News, Nov. 15). Comparing the NFL to the CFL is like comparing a Corvette to an Aveo.

You can thank history for the fact that Victoria is B.C.'s capital and thus the ferry system is considered part of the province's highway system.

The Editor, Re. "Transportation plan doesn't go far enough, says Port Coquitlam mayor" (The Tri-City News, Nov. 15).

One thing that the circus at Toronto city hall has done is raise awareness about the role and importance of civic government - especially what happens when government doesn't function.

The Editor, Re. "Why no 'O Canada'?" (Letters, The Tri-City News, Nov. 15). Port Coquitlam's Remembrance Day Services began at 9:30 a.m. at Wilson Centre. We began with our national anthem, "O Canada." Half of the service was conducted there.
