Coquitlam schools celebrate 50 years

Two Coquitlam schools are passing the mid-century mark with celebrations. On Thursday, Miller Park elementary school celebrated its 50th anniversary with a community celebration and on Friday, Nov.

Hunger Games challenge

On the eve of the release of the latest Hunger Games movie, Catching Fire , all sorts of challenges will test teens' skill and cunning at Terry Fox Library - and the strongest will win prizes. The Hunger Games Teen Challenge runs from 4 to 5 p.m.
