Port Coquitlam author Robert C. Belyk has weaved another spooky yarn - just in time for Halloween.

The desperate housewives from Leave it to Cleavage are back in Coquitlam - this time, with more bounce in their step.

It may look like Sesame Street but it's not for kids. The wildly popular Avenue Q - a Broadway musical for adults - will be in Coquitlam next week as part of a provincial tour by the Arts Club Theatre Company.

The music starts at 8:25 a.m. from Monday to Thursday at Ecole Moody Middle School of the Arts. Students at the Port Moody school know they have five minutes to get ready for the school day when the "Prime Time" tunes begin.

Coquitlam actor Grant Vlahovic plays Virgil Black in a play opening on Thursday at the Langley Playhouse. Vlahovic is in Cocktails at Pam's, a quirky Canadian comedy by Stewart Lemoine.
