The efforts of one local soccer team are making an impact that extends far beyond the Tri-Cities. A team of 12-year-old girls donated their jerseys to a boys team in Zimbabwe.

The Senior Adanacs just couldn't keep pace with the Western Lacrosse Association regular season champion Langley Thunder. The Thunder knocked off Coquitlam 11-9 Saturday to sweep the best-of-seven series in four games.

They may not have taken the easy road to get there but the Coquitlam Adanacs have found their way back to the top of the B.C. Junior Lacrosse League.
